Elwing, daughter of Nimloth and Dior, mother of Elrond and Elros. She escaped the destruction of the Havens of Sirion by the aid of Ulmo who turned her into a white bird bearing a Silmaril on her breast. She then met with his husband Eärendil who now travels the skies with the Silmaril shining bright as the beloved star of the Elves (and mine too :P)

Part of my "realistic portraits" project, I used several references for the construcion of her face. I like to think this portrait was made after she came to Aman while dwelling in her white tower :thumbsup:

She is beautiful, and not in the ostentatious way. She has a quiet beauty. Very much how I would imagine Elrond and Elros' mother.

Simple, but really beautiful. She is lovely, and I really like the way you depicted her clothing and jewelry. Beauty like that does not need excessive adornment. :)
